I’m restoring a recent estate sale find. It has a leather top. The top needs to be re-glued. What is the recommended glue for leather?
Thanks,
Mark
Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk, cut it with an ax.

Mark,
Wallpaper paste is what is generally used to glue down leather tops. You may want to try using a hair dryer to warm the affected area and see if that will reactivate the glue so that you can put it back down. You may also try using a warm iron with a cloth to see if the area can be reactivated and laid back down.

glue down leather tops..
I would use good old Hide Glue.. Sticks to anything!
EDIT..
What J.P.said makes sense to me! A hot Iron and steam can do wonders on ALOT of things...
