I have a , I believe a beech wood, kitchin table. The table has a pickle white stain. I have sanded off the protective finish, carefull not to remove any of the stained wood. I wanted to apply a new coat of white stain. Is that possible, or do I need to sand of the stained wood and start with fresh unstained wood ?
