I recently purchased a 2002 Laguna TS table saw which came with the Biesemeyer fence. It so happened that the rails supporting the fence was cut in half. After a welding job, the rails seem to be correctly patched but I still would like to restore the paint where the welding was done.
Any ideas on the type of paint to use and whether someone could share the exact color; my fence is the original Biesemeyer color.
Thanks for any pointer,
Sam.

Sam,
Biesemeyer is a part of Delta, their parts service may be able to supply you with a spray can of the proper color paint. The alternative is to try to find a close match in ordinary hardware store spray paints, there are a lot of colors available. An automotive paint supplier can custom mix to match the color, but it would be expensive and you'd need a spray gun.
The alternative would be to pick an entirely different color, such as black, for the rail, it would look fine and you won't have the problem of having an attempted match not working. It is only a table saw, don't get too crazy over the paint. The repaired rail needs to be perfectly straight, that is important.
