FWW did a test i think two issues ago. Pretty intestive tool review as per FWW standard. Check it out.

I have the Wagner mmc 205 and the Timber Check. Wagner is a pinless i use for smooth boards and final check and the Timber Check I use with the pins on rough lumber. Both are under $200 with the Check @ $60 or so.
I agree with Bill as their is a good article FWW issue 156 June. There is a pretty wide range and types. You need to do some home-work b-4 you decide.. Good Luck..
