Anybody got any tricks/tips for re-finishing the edge of Azek after it’s been machined? I made some window boxes which have some pieces that had to be ripped and some exposed ends. Even after sanding, the machined edges of Azek seem to be dirt magnets. If anyone has a tip for re-imparting that factory finish, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm making a comment because I want to know as well. I've only used Azek as trim and use turn-ins on exposed edges. Hopefully, someone will answer on the other product that looks like foam inside. Can't remember the name right now.
I also posted on Breaktime. Here's a link to the responses I've gotten from those folks.

Thanks.....MEK is some stinky stuff!
Epoxy and end fill strips?
You can't really get a factory edge on Azek. It's a cellular PVC product, which means the inside is really just PVC bubbles. The surface is smoothed out in the extrusion process.
Azek recommends coating all cut edges with their glue, which fuses the PVC. I've had good results simply painting with a few coats of PVC-friendly paints per the recommendations of the mfgr.

Everything fits, until you put glue on it.
