I just bought a old used dewalt MB 9″ radial arm saw. Where can I get a new 9″ blade? I dont want to have to go to 8 1/4″.
Thanks Kevin

Festool Model KS 120 REB Miter Saw
Sliding compound miter saws have become a woodshop staple. Their ability to squarely crosscut wide boards and to cut difficult miter and bevel angles is huge. Festool’s Kapex KS 120 REB fulfills these duties with aplomb. The design keeps the saw close to the wall, allowing for a small footprint. The cut is rigid and precise provided you use good technique. It accepts 20mm blades, about 10 1⁄4 in. Its maximum width of cut is 12 in..
Bessey K-Body Parallel-Jaw Clamp
The 3 3/4" deep parallel jaws allow for all types of clamping, from thin panels to joinery.
Pfiel Chip Carving Knife
Great to use as a marking knife for laying out joinery and easy to sharpen.
WoodRiver Bevel Edge Socket Chisel Set
These chisels are well balanced, with a light-weight handle that makes gripping them down by the edge during chopping less fatiguing than many other chisels. Each chisel only requires a few minutes of work before its back is polished and ready to go. Similarly, the bevels all have a consistent grind that is quick to hone to razor sharpness. The smartly shaped beveled edges give the tool good mass, but with a very fine, consistent land (the flat between the side bevel and back) that won’t interfere with working in confined spaces.
Ridgid Oscillating Spindle
With five spindles sized from 1/2 in. to 2 in. and a 4 X 24-in. belt, this tool sander has become a staple in many a shop Fine Woodworking visits.

A few yrs. ago, Lee valley had a special on 9" B&D Pirahna blades really cheap($9cdn) so I got 3 of them to use as beater blades. Turned out to be fabulously clean cutting on my 10" contractor saw. Given the shakeups @ B&D, I don't know if they are still around but check it out...
Freud makes a good selection of 9 in. blades . Click on link and you can do search for the blade you need. good luck.

Kevin,
I have an old 9" miter saw and have found an Ebay vendor that occasionally carries some 9 inchers for very nice prices.
His company name is Cripe Distributing and also has a web site (http://www.cripedistributing.com) . He sells a lot of surplus stuff, occasionally has a few Systimatic blades for decent prices. He is reliable and dependable, and I have no interest in this business, just satisfied each time I've ordered from him.
Take a look at CMT they make a couple of 8.5 inch blades that are good for a RAD saw you would only be loosing 1/4 inch of cutting capacity. Good luck
Troy
I agree with Troy that you will have better luck finding 8-1/2" blades for crosscutting. That's due to the SCMS of that size which was so popular a few years ago. Freud offers several including the LU91R008 which is our top of the line.
