Questions on Moser Continuous Arm Chair
I’ve collected material (cherry for the seat and arm, ash for the spindles and hard maple for the legs) for my attempt at building a Thomas Moser continuous arm chair. Has any one build one of these and if so what problems did you run into in the process and did you glue laminate the continuous arm or steam bend it? Also what wood did you use for the knees?

I can't help you since I haven't made one, however it's such a beautiful chair it would be nice if you took pictures and posted them as you proceed. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's very interested in how you go about making this chair. I am about to make my first rocking chair.
Hope you get the info you need and I hope to see how it progresses.

Moser built the early ones by steam bending the arm, but shifted to bent lamination later on.
I saw a interesting technique on New Yankee Workshop, Norm used a combination of steam bending and laminate technique on a project.
You might look up two of Moser's books. One is called Measured Drawings of American Furniture. The other is called Windsor Chairmaking.
I have the first one, still looking for the second one.
Thanks
