question on powermatic 720hd mortiser

hi, i’m getting ready to buy the powermatic 720hd mortiser, and i was wondering if anybody has any experience with this machine. it looks good to me, but them most things look good before you buy them. i found it for 1,499 with tool king, so it seems like a pretty good buy.

Not dead-on-target reply, but I have had the 719 for 8 yrs +/-. Fixed head, table moves. I think the basic structure of the head itself is very similar (except 1hp v 1-1/2hp). Stroke length and plunge mechanism look to be identical.
I absolutely love this tool. Very well made. My table movement is precise and reliable, and I'd bet that the head movement on the 720 is every bit as good. I just did not need the extra functionality of the 720, and I really preferred to put mine on top of a bench. But, if I needed the 720 features I would not hesitate, based on my experience.
