Question about PC Pancake Compressor
I have one of those small pancake compressors that came with the brad nailer, etc. My question is this…the top of the compressor (plastic) has a depression at the top that looks and feels like it would be a perfect handle, but it doesn’t seem to me like you should be able to lift the unit by this plastic top part, and the manual does not point it out as a handle. It is kind of a pain in the rear to lug around without a handle. I have seem other ones with a welded on stick and handle grip, so I thought the other ones were an oversight. Anyway…anybody have this compressor, and do you carry it by this “handle?”

I have used other low end pancake compressors with a molded plastic handle, and it worked OK.
I personally don't own one of these, I have the one with the welded metal handle.
IF Your unit does have a warranty, I'd put it to the test. Or call customer service.
I'm not advocating doing something wreckless or careless, but I find it hard to believe that a mfg would omit a carry handle on a pancake compressor.
My brother owns one, and yeah, we carry it by the plastic handle.
DR
I have the same compressor and I use the plastic handle and have had no problems.
