I’m trying to install a cabinet door with full inlay eurohinges but cannot get the darn thing to adjust. At the maximum sideways adjustment, there is a gap of 1/4 inch on the hinge side and an overlap of the same amount on the strike side. Any advise?

Two possibilities that I can think of:
1) You don't have the hinge bodies properly seated on the attachment plates. With some hinges, it's easy to slide the hinges into place in such a way that they seem solid, but you've actully slid the body on at an angle, and while the rear end is fine, the pin at the front is sitting on top of the notch that it's supposed to slide into. (See the attached illustration.)
2) You may have simply drilled the 35mm cup holes in the wrong place. With Blum Clip-Top hinges, the edge of the hole should be 4-5mm from the edge of the door.

Boy, do I feel dumb. Turns out, Bolts, that I had the wrong plate. Once you mentioned it, I realized that had to be the problem so went back to my hardware guy and got the right ones. Obvious in retrospect but took some jogging from you guys to get it. Thanks Bolts, and saschafer too for coming to my rescue.
I build cabinets with Blum hinges all the time you are not giving enough info to help, different brands of hinges have different installation specs. Inset doors need different plates to overlay doors the 35mm bore hole location depends on the overlay of the door if you can post more info I will try to help.
