I have a Powermatic 66 that I bought used and have loved for years. It’s a great saw!
However, somehow the spliter/anti kickback device (the holder really) has drifted very slightly out of liine with the saw blade.
The spliter holding device–that I believe must be an aftermarket add on–consists of a box and spring-loaded pin attached to what appears to be an original (with the Powermatic) threaded pipe with a nut which must adjust the spliter holder’s alignment with the blade.
This is as it shouild be, but there’s is no way I can get a wrench on this nut without removing the entire machined-steel table.
Any suggestions? Please.

Hi,
If this is an after market piece, I'm surprised that someone had to take off the table to get it on. Or that it's not adjustable. But maybe so.
You can always take a cold chisel and hammer to a nut to get it to turn. This is provided that you won't cause any damage, that is any damage at all, to the surrounding castings, table, bearings, or shaft when hammering. Then try some slip joint pliers and see if it will loosen enough. Good luck. Gary
