I just acquired an older Powermatic Artisan Model 043 Bandsaw. Would love to get a copy of the owners manual if someone out there actually still has one. The saw needs a tune up and I can’t seem get the blade to track to the middle of the lower wheel. There is a bracket in back of the lower bracket with 4 set screws and 4 hex bolts, but I suspect that these are simply to adjust the tensoin of the drive belt? Any thoughts or knowledge of the peculiaritties of this saw would be greatly appreciaitied.
Thanks
Tim

Tim, Here's a link to a page at the Old Woodworking Machines (OWWM) website. You can download a copy of the parts list and operators manual for your machine from this page. Downloads are free but donations are very welcome -

Thanks for reading my post and pointing me in the right direction! Unfortunately, my saw is #043 not 143. Similar but differences in guides and guards. I am having a helluva time even figuring the blade length, after doing some calcs off the saw I have ordered some Timberwolf Blades at 102" and crossing my fingers. Also have some sticky guide bearings to change, and already replaced all the set srews with stainless. Thanks again for showing me the website, I really appreciate the effort.

It is a 99 inch blade. Have to special order for that lenght.

There are few band saw blade suppliers that custom made blades. So, it wouldn't be hard to find that length. I buy blades on sawblade.com. Also, this is an old thread and Tim is probably good now with his saw.
