I need to join several pices of plywood to make an L shaped desk. What is the best method? Finger joints, lock miter joints, spline or biscuits?

I've done it two ways:

I've used just good 'ol yellow Titebond to make plywood longer and wider. Use biscuits for alignment if you like, but they don't add strength.

Kreuzie,Just tryin to visualize just how that der glue streeches that der wood.
Do it grab one end and pull or do the TB jest kind of wrastle with it till it yells "uncle"? :-)BB
I would consider using pocket screw construction along with glue.
I do have pocket hole jigs. What ever opion I use, I was going to combine it with the pocket screws. Question is how to keep surfaces flush as with plywood you have no room for error.
Here's justification for another tool purchase - pocket hole jig.

Can you glue a corner block (maybe 1 x 1 x __) on the inside corner?

rg,
I commonly spline plywood decks for alignment and to make longer parts , will this be the top or bottom ?
A long miter would look best for the counter tops , it can be held together with tie bolts we use for Formica countertops . You rout a space and use a small wrench to snug them up dry or with glue your call .
hope this helps dusty, boxmaker
