I’ve decided I want to have a seperate cordless Drill and impact Driver. I was set to go for the Panasonic 15.6 volt series, but they they don’t make a driver in 15.6v, only a driver that converts into a drill. I’m tempted by their 12v combo kit, but I’m retiring a Bosch 12v drill that really didn’t perform so well, so I’m shying away from 12v. I’d really like to have both tools share a battery system so I can use the same chage etc. So, I’m looking for ideas. Any input is appreciated. |

I have two Panasonic 15.6 Drill/Drivers (because it's cheaper to buy another drill with two batteries than replace a battery), and the 15.6 Multi Drill which in my opinion is brilliant in it's performance. I did have Festo but chose not to buy that drill again.
qs, I have a pair of Porter Cable 19.2 drivers and one also has a hammer setting. Bought them cheaper as "rebuilts"* from CPO with case, the monster amp batteries and fast, smart charger that trickles to maintain the charge and not cook the batt. That gives me 4 batts. and 2 chargers with a new factory warrantee. I just drove a bunch of 4/6" lag bolts fixing fences with no problem. The steel ratchet ckuck with carbide jaws really rocks. It locks the bit while standing still -no need to spin it up- and opens the same way. Pat
* these had to be clean returns or just new batts, chucks and chargers with new handle pads in a factory sealed bag.
