Gilliom Mfg sells plans and the parts to make basic machines like a tablesaw and bandsaw etc. out of plywood. They sell the arbors, hardware and brackets. You can find the address in some of the FWW or other WW mags. You do realize it will cost more tp make one than to buy one! With the cost of imports you can't come close to making one for less. I have a full machine shop and I would only make such a thing for the fun of it.

Get a copy, or maybe the library has Making and Modifying Machines. There is an excellent article on building a tablesaw and cross slide table. There are quite a few other articles you may find interesting. I haven't built a tablesaw ( got a Grizzly 1023s ) but have built a number of tools. I built a lathe, drum sander, panel saw,and my newest tool I call the contraption. It is a sash saw used for cutting logs. Only cut a couple of cherry logs so far, waiting for good weather.
