The down side to pin nailers.
Go over to the General Discussion forum and take a look at the post Repition of tasks can lead to distraction & accidents. It shows you the dark side of pin nailers.
Look around
There's plenty of info on this site as far as tool reviews. Generally speaking I use them to tack on small pieces of trim or appliques. They are good at holding things temporarily together, but not permanently. The pins lack the strength necessary to hold for long periods of time. Often this can be an advantage, I use them to tack on wooden strips behind glass windows so if they break later I can remove the strips and reuse them. Just one example. They are great for use on trim where you don't want the telltale nail marks of an 18ga.
