I live in South Florida, thus, Palm Trees are quite abundant and looking at a chopped down Palm, I kind of liked the look of the wood, though, it looks a little “spungy.” My question is, is it possible to use Palm Tree Wood to build furniture?

Possible vs. Advisable
In other words, I don't think I'd trust Palm wood for furniture.
Palm use
I have seen furnature made out of Cambodian black palm and I have turned bowls out of it. But they like to split and stink like manuer while turning. How local palm would work ? I have no clue.
