I am going to purchase wood shutters for my house, cut them to size, finish them, and install them (about 40 windows).
My question is on the painting of the shutters. They are small (1/2 window) and I am using latex paint. I thought this would be a good time to purchase a nice finish sprayer and system. I am going to do a few rooms at a time, so I don’t need a big production system and I want to buy something re-usable (I have a book case (walnut) and an entertainment system (cherry) in the near future).
As I have outfitted my shop, I have made the choice to purchase high quality tools (powermatic etc.), so I don’t want to skimp if I don’t have to. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have read multiple threads from multiple boards and I am having trouble piecing it all together.

You might be in the market for a small airless setup. It can shoot the finishes you describe, latex being the one that tends to eliminate most others. Graco is a good brand. Sherwin has a line of guns they sell, everything from tiny to five grand. I think even the small one might get you close to a thousand though by the time you've got your tips and everything else. They are good guns.
