Hi all,
Had one of my students try oxalic acid to remove rust stains on some rock maple. It was quit concentrated, and has left a beautiful pink stain. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of the pink acid stain?
thanks,
Roy

splinter,
Your student may have to go over the whole surface with the acid solution to get a uniform color. Have you tried neutralizing with baking soda/water solution?
