Love my Dust Deputy. Bought a couple of ShopVav’s ‘Industrial’ hose kits but I need some mor adapters. ShopVav doesn’t list them on their site and a Google search didn’t turn up anything.
Can you all help me with a source for adapters?

What do you need? Highland Woodworking has several adapters.
There are way too many different sizes of vacuum hoses, unfortunately.

Checked them out and couldn't find anything with an inside diameter of
1 1/2" and OD 1 7/7'. Thanks for the reply.
I happen to have one of these:

(from Highland Woodworking--part number 192605)
The bottommost portion of the stepped section is pretty close to 1-1/2" ID (I can't measure it exactly, as I can't get anything in that far), and the OD tapers slightly from about 1-15/16" at the flange to just a hair over 1-7/8" at the end away from the flange. At only $5, it's probably worth a shot.

It's a rule of thumb that no vacuum accessories are interchangeable. I've bought two or three of those step adapters trying to mix & match accessories from different manufacturers & they didn't fit anything either. Dust Doctor (I think it's called) makes a good set of aftermarket hoses. Most of the catalogs carry just their basic kit, but a few have a good range of adapters. I'll try to find a reference to post later.
Boy, I sure will appreciate that! I have had no luck at all finding adapters.. Amen to the comments on the step adapters. I have two laying around somewhere. Good idea. Poor execution.
Ok, I was wrong on the name so give me half credit for trying. The web pages don't come up quite as clear & descriptive as their catalog, but Eagle America carries the "Mr. Nozzle" fittings of various sizes plus some different step adapters. Try these pagehttp://eagleamerica.com/product.asp?pn=489-7300&bhcd2=1199824225Also check these part numbers on their web site if what you need isn't on that page:489-7104 ; 489-7102 ; 489-7103 ; 489-7315 489-7300.Hope that helps..
