I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the new Oneida Portable Dust Collector? I know their ‘standard’ cyclones get pretty good responses/reviews but if possible, I would like some feedback on this model if anyone has any experience with it.
Thanks

There's a lot of info about dust collection on this non-commercial site:

His posts are long and tend to repeat info from section to section, but it looks like he has done the research to find out what really works.
Yes, I have one. Really like how it works. It does a great job. When I first got it, I had some serious concerns about fit and finish. It was mostly cosmetic however and did not affect operation. I did have problems with the casters. In the first couple of days I managed to bend the shafts on three of the casters. They have a single shaft and are about the caliber you would expect to find on a good office chair. I stuck a 3/4" plywood base under it and gave it some good 4 inch casters from Grizzley. Moving that heavy 5" hose from machine to machine got old real fast. I have converted it to a fixed machine with 4" PVC runs to each machine. Still works great even if I forget and leave a couple extra blast gates open. It's a exellent choice. Go for it.
