I can’t find a supplier for small carved White Oak egg and dart moulding.
Maple, plaster and poplar all seem plentiful. I need Oak to replicate a 100 yr old door.
Any help?

I cannot help you, but maybe you can help me. I am looking for egg and dart in poplar or a mold kit. Want to make, install, and paint as part of a crown molding around a room. Know of any good sources of material?
I just "Googled" egg and dart and got tons of suppliers and historical information on this moulding profile. There was even an article in Fine Woodworking (forget the issue) on carving the profile by hand.
Have you tried Enkeboll Designs? They have lots of moldings in different woods and (at one time, anyway) carry white oak moldings. They're in California just south of Los Angeles.
