I’m looking for a source to buy the Chris Pye oilstones and slipstones for sharpening carving tools. Any suggestions?

Thank you! I didn't realize they were so pricey. I have their catalog and didn't think to look there for the stones, but I don't need whole sets, just a couple of the slips.
I have the Sculpture sharpening stones "set", which is only 2 stones, a coarse and an ultra fine, but I find that's plenty for maintaining the inside curves, and you can use the flat sides for outside curves as well. It doesn't cover v-tools, for which I use a leather hone. I don't recall what I paid, but I don't believe it was as much as $73. I thought the British pound was in the toilet, but apparently the Dollar's doing even worse.

I just ordered a set of the same stones you have after discovering that Rockler has a current "Internet Special" promotion going on. The same promotion also applies to the V-groove set. You save about $20, but they charge shipping on top of that. Many thanks for putting me on to the Chris Pye stones. Jim
