When all the knee slapping and snorting simmered down, she confided in me that she had learned that her husband John’s friends refer to him as ‘Johnny Pipes”

After having me sworn to secrecy, she explained

John worked in a local bank, when a ‘would be’ Jesse James, attempted to rob the bank
As the culprit exited the bank, John took after him down the street brandishing the only weapon available
