Ok. I think Veritas has made an innovative dovetail saw. No more loose handles. From articles it says that it has a really smooth start. But what i would like to know is how well does it cut?

I just got one in the mail yesterday. It is a dream. It feels and cuts beautifully. It has a different look to it but when it all comes doen to it the blade is what does the work. It is worth the money.

For $65 it sounds like a dream. Now i think i made up my mind on a dovetail saw. Thanks alot.Angel
Just got mine in the mail today and I was thoroughly impressed. Although I didn't give it a real workout, I made some test cuts in pine, maple and red oak. This saw cuts clean and fast. I had no trouble cutting to a line even though I am by no means an experienced dovetailer. I also liked how the saw felt in my hand (I have medium to large size hands).
Although this saw may appear "untraditional" when compared to other makers, it is still beautiful in it's own right. There is also no other better deal out there.
