I just purchased an Ingrassio e205 router from a woodshop that is moving anyone have any info on it? it looks like an SCMI R8. I emailed SCMI and got no response.
I thought that someone here might know?
Here is a pic of it:

I got it for a song and could not pass the deal up.
I know that it runs on 3 phase and I might yank the motor and run something else in like a 5hp 220 motor or something?
Anyone have any thoughts to what I should do with it? this is in my garage, and if I do run it I will have to get a rotary phase converter…
Thanks in advance!!!

Nice machine! A rotary or an VFD inverter will do nicely. I used to have a similar Onsrud machine. Rotary will allow you to run future 3 phase machines. Inverter will give variable speed which might be useful but it's more a dedicated unit as it takes more to reprogram for other machines. Not a plug and go deal by any means. http://www.pahse-a-matic.com sells a static and instructions to use a 3 phase motor as a slave to make your own rotary. Best prices are through http://www.use-enco.com but call phase-a-matic for the technical details. Been there, done that!
