I am wondering how much the new Delta 17-959L Drill Press will sell for? I am going to purchase a new DP but I’m not sure if I should get the 17-965 or wait three months for the new models to come out. Are they priced about the same?

WoodRiver Bevel Edge Socket Chisel Set
These chisels are well balanced, with a light-weight handle that makes gripping them down by the edge during chopping less fatiguing than many other chisels. Each chisel only requires a few minutes of work before its back is polished and ready to go. Similarly, the bevels all have a consistent grind that is quick to hone to razor sharpness. The smartly shaped beveled edges give the tool good mass, but with a very fine, consistent land (the flat between the side bevel and back) that won’t interfere with working in confined spaces.

Bora NGX Clamp Edge System
The NGX Clamp Edge System from Bora promises to deliver all the functionality of a proper track saw using the garden-variety circular saw you already own. The five-piece Deluxe set includes the sliding saw plate, the 50-in. Clamp Edge track (with built-in edge clamp), a 50-in. extension track, two specialty clamps for angled cuts, and zero-clearance plastic strips for both tracks.
Festool TSC 55 KEB Track Saw
This saw is nearly identical to the TSC 55 REB, with two main upgrades. The first is a thinner blade that cuts quicker and extends battery life up to 40%, according to Festool. The second is the headline-grabber: an anti-kickback device that replaces the riving knife. The KEB is compatible with older Festool tracks and batteries. You can buy just the bare tool, the tool with the batteries, or the tool with the batteries and a 55-in. track.

Sorry for the delay. I haven't checked these messages in a while. I'll check on the Delta.

The latest Delta drill presses we know about are 20-in. floor-standing models, which will sell for about $700 and $900. The more expensive one has a speed readout and laser guides. They both got favorable reviews in our coverage of the IWF trade show last summer. Check out my video at:

I didn't see the 17-959L, but it is selling for $500 on Amazon.com. And it looks similar to the new models I reviewed, just with a slightly shorter quill stroke.
