   That one seems to be so popular, dealers have trouble keeping it in stock.  If you don't have any luck this weekend, I can forward the names and numbers of a couple of dealers in WA state who usually have them available.

   forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl   ;-)

      Agree with FG. Most on-line will probaly be out of stock. Just have to check. Stone Mountain tool here in Atl.anta has it, but doesn't ship. Might try Highland Hardware here. They ship all over.

   Jim,

   I just received the new Jet 2 hp Canister Dust Collector the other day.  I ordered it from Amazon.com about two weeks ago.  I ordered a bunch of accessories along with my original order.  The initial order said the actual dust collector was 8 weeks backordered.  It shipped in 5 days.  Now I'm waiting on those darn wire hose clamps to complete my system.  A $650 system delayed by a $0.89 wire hose clamps.

   Anyway, I am very pleased with the design and the build quality.  I would highly recommend the machine.  Order it from Amazon and if it is on backorder they won't charge you until it ships.

   Thanks Bowman,

   I found out today that the woodworking show is coming here to houston weekend after next. I think I'll wait to see if I can get any kind of special that might equal the tax I'd have to pay. If now I'll order on amazon next day.
