I have been given a nice Dewalt 16″ Radial Arm Saw and a 12″ Parks Planer. Can someone recommend a source for parts or someone who will take on the challenge of refurbishing this equipment. The Dewalt Radial Arm crosscuts at 90 degrees fine but when used to cut at <>90 or at a compound angle, the run out is not true. Also, there is speculation that the arbor may not be true. This is a three phase machine which I’ll need to convert to a one phase. I know the process will be expensive.
The Parks planer is vintage but a fine piece of equipment. I have other planers but want to refurbish the Parks. Rollers need to be trued and new blades, etc.
I am obliged for your response. I live in Nashville Tennessee but will deliver (or have shipped if necessary) the equipment.

Bobby: I used the Parks planer for many years.I converted it to a profiler to shape the inside profile of tail skids to protect aircraft tail surfaces when landing on carrier decks.
I also live in Nashville. If you will call
General Industrial Supply at 256-2220,I think that they can help you. They can likely find a source for parts that you need.
Ask for Tommy Warren. These are the same people who for many years operated the dealership known as Tennessee Machinery on Polk avenue.Thank you,Mr.Croney, where ever you may be.

Wolf Machinery for the Dewalt, look them up on the web. There is a company that has the rights for Parks but can't remember the name; it's something Morrison Company. Go to http://www.owwm.com and look for both the Parks and Dewalt info there. Good luck on converting the Dewalt, would be better to make a phase converter.
Look on eBay for a variable frequency drive (VFD) to run your three phase motor on single phase 220. As you said, its not cheap.
