I am working on a cabinet much like the one in issue #160 ‘Tools & Shops’ on page 46. I like the low cost drawers being used but would like a 3″ drawer in lieu of the 1″ & 2″ ones illustrated. I checked to see if LeeValley offered deeper drawers but they do not. Does anyone know of a vendor that makes something similiar w/ a 3″ height? Thanks for your help….

Rockler sells a drawer side and slide combination that works well. They're available up to 6" in depth.

Try Western Dovtail http://www.drawer.com/ I bought some for my kitchen very nice solid maple sides, maple ply bottom, finished. Any size in 1/4" heights 2 1/4", 3 1/4" ect.
