There’s a company in the UK called “makers-mark” where they make some nice brass engraved name/logo plates that you inlay into or fasten on your work. (www.makers-mark.co.uk). While I love the products, I frown on going to a bank and sending a “cheque”, etc. Too bad you can’t just give them a credit card number… Anyway, does anyone know of a company in the states that does the same fine work?

There's an outfit in Kentucky that's named Makers Mark.
They make a FINE product, in 86 or 100 proof...
Have you priced their products? I am considering ordering some but would like to have an idea of what it will cost.

I bought logo plates from them 2 years ago. at the time they used paypal for on line orders. I had an issue with the information paypal was asking for and so I did go to the bank and bought a money order. I am happy that I did. their product is well done and they were great to deal with. also they will do small orders (down to one offs) and were cheaper than any US based supplier that I could find at the time
