Hello. I have a Stanly Bostitch angle finish nail gun with a problem.
The other day I went to lunch and left the gun and compressor hooked up. When I returned the nail gun was hissing ( the sound of an air leak) and the compressor was running. I unhooked the nail gun and let the compressor charge. Whne I hooked the gun up to the air line there was a air leak coming out around the trigger area. It would not stop and the air continued to leak. I took the gun home that night and disassembled the top part and found the piston fine. I,m cautious about going any further because of bad experiences taking tools apart and having to put them back together with no success. I want to know if you all have any suggestion as to where the problem may be. Then I will try to repair the nail gun. Thank you
Rusty

You should post this over in the breaktime forum (up top, in the middle) and address it to Mike Smith, he has all bostitch nail guns and a lot of experience with them. If someone knows, it would be him.
Try to track down where the leak is exactly and give bostitch a call or stop by one of the service centers, most of them will be more than happy to tell you what the problem is and sell you the parts (probably o rings or similar) to fix it.
Thanks for the tip. I got bostitch web site and the told me the problem and sold me the parts to fix it I'm waiting now for the parts, will let all know when its' fixed. rusty
