Despite the odds, I think these are my best pieces of work. My wife and I call them Al & Bob for now until we know the sex.

Congrats! Let the fun begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it.
And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
My best wishes and prayers for your family's happiness and well-being.

Congratulations! Psalm 139:13-16 comes to mind . . .
Blessings!!
Congrats! Start sleeping more now, because you're not going to get any very, very soon..........
If they're both boys, you might want to stock up on bandaids, too! Being an ex hockey player, I can do 9 stictches in under 15 minutes..(no novocaine, of course. That takes longer.)

Ha Ha Ha Don't we all know that's true!
I once approached my lady friend about some "late night" activities while in the midst of a pregnancy.
I would have been better off putting my hand (full of raw ribeye steaks) in between the bars at the local zoo where they keep the starving, rabid african lions.
When I complained she replied " YOU did this to me"
Go figure! Everything can't always be my fault.
Good to hear from you. Hope the time off from woodworking is doing you some good.
Cheers,
Lee
Lee,
"late night" ?
Too tired by then. Stay away from 'power' tools...

Stay away from 'power' tools...
LOL... There is always one of you folks!
Yes' got me on that one! LOL :>)
I for one hope the child is always healthy AND Happy! And finds a good mate someday.
If you look very closely, I thing he/she/it already has a mate if only for a short time.
Congratulations! Don't plan on spending much time in the shop for the next couple of years either, my 2-1/2 year old daughter takes all my time.
There is nothing in the world like having a child. Enjoy it and be there for them.
Thank-you all. My wife is due in March/April, so I get to spend a little more time in the garage trying to make a baby dresser and crib(s). I'm sad my tool budget will cease to exist, but I don't think I will be thinking much about it much for a bit.

Congratulations!!! I am spending a few days with my son and d-i-l, and their 2 year old daughter who makes the energizer rabbit look old and slow. I think if Cate saw a climbing wall she would be able to climb it in short order.
And, tomorrow, they will learn if Cate is going to have a sister or brother. We had a blast with our 3 kids, and now 5 grandkids. We are blessed that our kids have their heads on straight, married great spouses, and are all headed in the right direction.
Just remember, be a parent first to your children, then you can be their friend. One of the best things you can do for them is to love their mother.
(Advice from my professional (and personal) expertise of close to 40 years.)

It takes me back 21 months ago... We knew she was pregnant, but didn't know there were two. The beginning is hard, ours boys were born at 32 weeks. They spent a little bit of time in the special care nursery, but they were healthy (just small). What more can you ask for. Now they're coming up to 17 months and they keep me, my wife and a nanny busy full time.
On a side note, my woodworking time actually increased for the first few months after they were born. We've always been a busy family, but newborns kept us at home. Honestly the first few months they don't do too much... Cry, poop and sleep...
Congratulations and good luck.
