How much of a gap should i leave between mortise and tenon when using epoxy? Since epoxy is gap filling i realize there can be a greater space between mortise and tenon, however, if their is little or no gap will their be excessive squeeze out resulting in joint failure. Also, how much clearance/gap should i leave when using your average yellow carpenters glue on a mortise and tenon? lastly, which adhesive do you prefer to use for indoor mortise and tenon joinery? I plan on making a large old style queen size bed frame with lots of mortise and tenon joinery. I look forward to any advice or experieces that is out their Ivan

For epoxy a slip fit rather than a push fit is sufficient.
