I have seen in several locations on the web, stanley, or stanley type, planes with lever caps that are not lever caps.  By this I mean that they have a screw to tighten them as opposed to a lever.  I got a close look at one of them recentley on this forum and it did not look like a modified cap.  Does anybody know who makes these?  Are they available to purchase?
