Hi,
Just installed a mj splitter on my tablesaw. The wood on the left side of the cut is getting a burn mark. The “fit” seems a little tight. Would it be a problem to file the splitter down a bit to loosen the fit. The splitter is in a zic.
Thanks

Micro Jig splitters have marks on the side indicating their bias left or right. A mark of +++ means it has a large bias in that direction. Look at your splitter and see if you can find an orientation that avoids the problem you are having.
