I DO I DO!!!
oh wait.....no i don't
there's no need to reinvent the wrench
Kemen,
I built a simple hood enclosure around the back of the saw with a 4" DC port at the bottom. The exhaust port at the rear of the blade has a 2 1/4 hose to a shop vac. Not perfect, but good enough for government work. I used cardboard and duct tape to experiment with size and angles for the box until I was satisfied that it would work.
Best!

As cheesy as it sounds, I made one from rigid insulation just a box at the back of the saw. With a dust port for the collector it works 10 times better than I thought it would.
From Woodcraft I bought a radial arm dust hood that fits behind the radial arm blade. I then pop riveted a piece of baltic birch ply to the bottom. This piece is then attached to the lower arm of the miter saw with a radiator hose clamp. The collector hood swings and moves with the blade angle. It is always directly behind the miter saw blade. It works great but most of the dust is picked up by the factory dust hook-up that surrounds the blade. My device eliminates any dust the used to fall behind the saw.
The biggest problem with my slider is that the dust comes off the bottom of the blade and hits the post directly behind. This sends the dust splashing every where. I put my vac hose in place of the dust bag and I strap a 4" dust collector hose to the side of the post. I have to move it when I tilt the saw, so it's not very convenient. It does get a lot of the dust but not all. Here are a couple of ideas, two commercial units and a homemade one.

Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
Here's what I use. When the cardboard loses it's grip and falls out, I tear off another piece. Works well if the vac is on.

Is that Festool cardboard? j/k
to the o.p. . . . all of the above, or Fastcap makes a hood contraption that shrouds the area behind the saw and catches most of it. Festools new Kapex available in July has quite good dust collection if you can stomach the purchase price. There's also black plastic "universal" shrouds, like what Rockler sells, $20. They basically just go behind the saw. You position it wherever you like, probably have to rig something to hold it, but a 4" hose hooks to it. Never used one, don't know if its worth spit, but its out there. Real trucks dont have sparkplugs

Not quite! It's a Rigid.

Kemen, I made my own hood for a 12" Bosch miter saw (non-sliding). It need to be developed into a "Beta" version, but this link will show you how it's configured now. I'm pretty happy with it!
