True story and has happened more than once. This last week my son and I put up a wood fence and everything is complete except to trim the tops of the posts to the same height. Need the chain saw for that but the chain is dull. Need the Dremel to sharpen the chain but the switch is out on it. So, I think I need a new Dremel.
This weekend Amazon sends a email flyer on Dremel tools!!! Freaky. This has happened more than once before where I think I need something and Amazon responds.
Woodcraft did it too. I am finally in a position to get my new tablesaw and I get a flyer for 10% off all power tools (except a few), local store only. How do they know???

nota,
Do you remember that time the aliens abducted you, and implanted that little cylinder just under the skin, at the back of your neck?
You do remember that don't you? Hmm? Right after the probe?
Ooops, gotta run, wife musta left the foil off the windows again..They're almost here.
Ra-....
It sounds like a case of unconscious supply and subliminal demand . . .
That's why I always wear this cool, aluminum foil hat..................

Next time you're in your shop, have a look at your the motor on that table saw you bought from them. Notice that the round motor has one or two bulges on the side. While the average joe would mistake them for capacitors, I will advise you that they actually contain a remote transmitting device which operates on the same frequency as your brain. Any time your saw is plugged in and you are within 50 feet, it is sending messages to your brain telling you that you need this or that.
So if you want this to stop, make sure your new table saw doesn't have any of these so-called capacitors (don't listen to the sales-guy - he's in on it!).

I used to feel that way too - until I realized I always wanted so many tools, that a couple of them were bound to be on sale somewhere at any moment! :-)
now im just being frugal here but....if you dont use the chain saw often, send it out to be sharpened.......Or.....buy a starpening file. the job takes about10 min. then again I sense you have a wad in your pocket just dying to get out.

Got lots of chain saw work to do. Problem is that August in Texas is NOT firewood cutting season so it's been put off a while. A couple of new saw chains and a pro sharpening are cheeper than a Dremel, but a Dremel is a multi-tasker (until the switch fails).
Tried a file, didn't cut too well. Rather file a hand saw.
