Can one of my fellow woodworker please help me locate plans for making a micro adjustable fence for my bandsaw? I saw one that works off a diagonal slot (with a knob), making it adjustable. One end has a “T” and a clamp on the far end. The entire jig is made of birch plywood, 3/4″.
Has anyone out there made one of these or seen a plan?
Thanks,
Gary

Seems to me it would be not too hard to cook up a design using something like these knobs

Hi,HUH!?
I'm looking for micro adjustable fence for my bandsaw, not knobs.
Sorry if I confused anyone.Gary
That sounds like the plan in Mark Duginske's "Band Saw Handbook". I've not made it.

Are you seeking this "micro-adjustability" in order to finely adjust for, say, resawing, or to adjust for "blade drift?"

Hi Forestgirl!A micro- adjustable fence for doing more delicate work, not for blade drift.
Michael Fortune has taught me a way around "drift".A rather simple fence, all made of baltic birch, simple slot cut into it so the fence can slide into position and be locked in place. I know I've seen it in one of those bandsaw books, just don't remember which one. So basic, but works great!I did a sketch last night, I can send it to you. Thanks,
Gary
It might be that the "micro-adjust" is throwing people off a bit. Sorry I'm not any help -- I haven't paid much attention to the various BS table/fence designs once I found one I liked. Send the sketch, it might trigger a memory! or give a better idea what you're looking for. Do you still have my email addy?forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
You don't need to remember. I posted your answer above.
Hi Alan,Thanks, but I don't have that book. I was hoping someone out there can send me the plans or at least a photo I can use for reference. Thanks,
Gary
