Please could someone give me the definitive method of Butt jointing vaneered MDF? Does one utilize biscuits, screws, and glue? If so which type of screws and glue? At what distances along edges being joined? Very grateful for any help. Paul.

I have been successful using Titebond III or I glue and using biscuits every 8" or so.
Depends on if you want to see a fastener or not.

Confirmat screws were mentioned in another post; they work well with particleboard, I wonder if they would work equally well with MDF.
As others have posted...

Just a link to one place you can get some.
I for one, am not above using MDF for projects and jigs.
Be aware, sometimes when using biscuits, splines etc. the MDF may swell up a bit and the area will telescope to the surface and will leave a visable area where you know something is in there! I find that Titebond III does not cause the MDF to swell up. Avoid glues with alot of water in it.
EDIT: I forgot to mention.. When drilling the pilot holes for the confirmat screws make sure you drill a 'bit' deeper than the screw length.
