I have a Makita 2040 planer that served me very well. They have a great reputation. 

Unfortunately, the rubber (urethane?) rollers completely disintegrated. New ones are available but are pricey. 

Would anyone one be interested in the one I have?  Either to rebuild or for parts?

And please help with the value. I’m thinking about $500 without shipping. Does that sound about right?
