Usually we make the face of the stiles between 4 1/2 and 5/1/2" PLUS the sticking detail which runs from 1/2 to 3/4" depending on the cutter pack we use. Top rail is the same face as the stiles as is the middle rail but you must add for sticking on both sides of the rail. Bottom rail is between 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 " on the face but sometimes it is larger depending on the person who specified the width. These widths all seem to create the most pleasing results. These are finished sizes given-every thing is oversized at least 1/16 " (middle rail) to 3/8" (stiles and bottom rail). It may seem wasteful but it is much better than trying to add on stock if something goes wrong. Hope this helps Joe
