mail order suppliers for the west coast

I live a couple hours north of LA and I am looking for a mail order supplier closer to the west coast to cut down on delivery costs for cherry lumber. I am also looking for decent prices so the cheaper delivery costs of a nearby supplier are not offset by charging more per board foot for the lumber – any suggestions?

You could try Edensaw in the Seattle area. I can't speak for how good they are about selecting lumber for shipment, as they are nearby my abode.
