Northfield Machinery still makes band saws in the USA. Their small one, a 20 inch, starts at $7460 - but it will last forever.
Last I knew Laguna out of California makes a great band saw line, and if I am correct they have increased their line to other machines as well.

Seems to me there was a lot of noise about Laguna on a thread here or across at Breaktime within the last 30-45 days. The main issue was quality & customer service, IIRC....The unspoken word is capital. We can invest it or we can squander it. -Mark Twain...

Laguna's line of BS's are made in Europe and imported to them in CA. I believe Tannewitz out of Michigan is making the only U.S. bandsaw. At least they were. Even that may be iffy at this point. The axis for "as the world turns" seems to shift daily in recent years!
