in Lee Valleys new christmas catalogue they advertise a new medically approved bandage you can apply to surgery that has been sowen or has clamps
they look somewhat like band aids and prevent the surgery from trying to break open
it seems they are currently being used by the US military in Iraq and Afgan land
they would seem a must for careless people

"What about your handplanes and chisels?"They are in good condition and healthy. Now the bosses running things at work and the politicians running the country......well they are the experts on Band Aid solutions!
Keep in mind that while Veritus (sp?) makes tools. L.V. sells a LOT of things other then just wood working tools (I know this is shocking).

they've been using them in hospitals for a few years, just now commerically available. I first saw them my last trip to the emergency room around 2004. I ordered some from LV when I saw them in the catalog. Not a substitute for stitches but better than bandaids for keeping small cuts closed.
