I’m searching for a review of the old (20yr+) Luna W59 combo planer/saw/mortiser. A 2nd hand machine is available and I’m interested. Does anyone recall a review in past FWW magazines or has some experience? Also price estimates?

You sure it's Luna and not Lurem which was a French company that made combo machines years ago. I don't recall any reviews on combo machines until the more recent years in FWW. You'd have better luck with the British forums or do a yahoo group search for combo user groups. Combo machines have been in use in Europe for many years. Possibly the early 60's at least. FWW isn't too inovative on newly developing machines even if Europe has had slot mortisers since the 50's.
email me - I still have a couple of scanned sales flyers of the W59 and I could possibly put you in touch with an owner in the UK. There is at least one owner who posts over at UKWorkshop as well as one or more ex-owners
