Tangible,
First Join the Colorado Woodworker's Guild and get a good discount at all the main hardwood lumber yards. The next meeting is 7:00 on Tuesday at Rocklers on South Colorado Blvd.
There are many good places:
Paxton
Hardwood Emporium
Centennial Wood
WoodCraft North Loveland
WoodCraft Peoria and Araphoe
Austin Hardwoods
Centennial Wood
Rocklers
Hope you get to the meeting on Tuesday
Moksha
I live in Boulder and buy wood at Consolidated Hardwoods in Broomfield and Sears, Trostel in Fort Collins. (in addition to the others already listed) Consolidated Hardwoods is one of the best places for sheet goods in the area.Best regards, Tom.
Yep, Moksha pretty much covered it. I prefer Austin for my normal stuff. CS Woods is in southern colorado and I think they make weekly trips to Denver.
Also need to mention Tool King and Tool Zone for power tools. Both also have online stores.

I second that. They had camphor wood in stock when i could find no one else in the US with it. Though some here have said it is growing on their street. Neighbors won't miss a tree or two surely.
