Looking for opinions/experience with LRH Magic Molder shaper cutter system for tablesaw. Looks slick if a bit pricey.
Also opinions/experience with Amana Profile Pro shaper cutter system (uses HSS knives).
Thanks!

LRH is also available for a shaper. The nice thing about the table saw unit is by tilting the arbor one cutter becomes many so the price goes down signifigantly in that respect. Shapers can do different kinds of curves than a table saw can. I don't think you are comparing apples to apples here. Do you have a specific job in mind or is this just "yeah I want some cutters" It's best if you can use a job to justify a purchase then it's just a matter of which cutter will set you up for future jobs. I'd look at the LRH because you can use the cutters on the shaper head or table saw head if I'm not mistaken.
I have a Magic Moulder and have been very happy with it. I made all the casework and baseboard for my house with the tablesaw version. The quality of the cuts were excellent. I think it's worth the money.
