I am building a mission sofa table for my wife. I find some of the tenons on the end rails are slightly loose fitting into the legs. Is there an easy way to remedy this?

Dear Mr. Young,
Sorry to hear about the trouble. Check out this article by Phil Lowe, Seven Joinery Fixes: http://www.taunton.com/finewoodworking/SkillsAndTechniques/SkillsAndTechniquesPDF.aspx?id=26866
He shows how to shim a miscut tenon and also explains how to replace a broken one. Does this help?
Thanks,
Gina
