I’m working on a cabinet that will hold, among other things, a stereo system. I recall seeing some nifty hardware that would allow you to slide the equipment out, then pivot/ rotate the gear to gain access to the back where the plugs go.
Does anyone know where I might find that hardware?
Thanks.

Thanks, but it's not quite what I had in mind. This was hardware that essentially slid the entire stack of components out from the cabinet. Once it was out, the stack would rotate 90 deg to give you access to the rear of all of the components at the same time."Honey, will you please make some sawdust and track it across the carpet?"

You may have to dig through the site or see if you can get a catalog.

Oldsaw ,
From one old to another , what you are looking for is made by Accuride and called something like a " Media Access Center " . It is as you describe , I have tried to use the unit as a retro fit several times but the existing openings would not allow the unit to fit , there was a set of dimensions with the manufacturers info , find any Accuride dealer .
hope this helps dusty
Lazy Susan on quality full length drawer slides? Accuride are good if not the best!

From a third Old to another,I have used the Accuride Media Access Center (MAC) on a project before and it worked great. I believe you can order it through Rockler if you don't have an Accuride dealer near you.Matthttp://www.oldgreenwoodworking.com
